Stylish Wedding Photography throughout England and the UK

Your Wedding Captured. Your Memories. In Safe Hands.

Specialising in reportage, documentary, and contemporary wedding photography, Your Wedding Captured is a collective of some of the best London Wedding Photographers you will find.

This talented collective runs under the direction of the chief photographer in West London, W12, however our weddings take us all over the UK as well as beyond the shores to a number of other European countries.

Great wedding photography tells a story; the story of your day, the stories that define relationships, the stories of loved ones. But we believe there is an even better class of wedding photography - the best wedding photography does something even more than that. Top-end wedding photography brings that story to life, it breathes colour and imagination and joy into that story, it plugs the gaps in your memory even decades later. It even has the power to bring tears to the eyes of family members who have not yet been born.

Your Wedding Captured provides wedding photography in London that documents every moment of your wedding day using a combination of styles of photography designed to capture those precious, fleeting moments; those important, transient points during the day when you are overwhelmed with emotion and joy. We start early in the morning, and offer to cover groom activities and bridal preparation (optional), and carry-on shooting all day into the evening, and if you choose, until after your guests have left for the night. We hardly stop to eat.

This approach results in a highly compelling account of your wedding day, which is edited to perfection and compiled into an online or leather-bound printed album of your choice.

We offer a unique blend of photography styles, and one that fits in with our belief that the photographs we take are the most important thing in the day for us, but probably the second most important thing in the day for you. Whilst we want to maximise every opportunity to get a stunning shot, we recognise this must always give way to the natural pace of the day, which is something that is only in very rare cases set by the photographer.

For example, during bridal preparations it may be possible to hold-up procedings by a few minutes in order to set-up a bridal beauty shot and make sure the light is right, however as the day evolves it becomes more important for the photographer to be more invisible. Later on, after the wedding formals (the formal group photography) and a few hours into the reception, we may take the bride and groom off for a special portrait session, which gives you the chance to take a deep breath from guests and reflect on the day. Our photographers then switch into studio mode and have a few more minutes to get the best out of you for these evening wedding portraits.

As these styles can vary throughout the day it is extremely important that you feel comfortable with your London wedding photographer, and you must feel that you can say anything to your photographer at any time. A wedding photographer must be simultaneously following the action as well as being one-step ahead; simultaneously recording events as they unfold as well as setting-up shots.

"Les photographes s'occupent des choses qui disparaissent continuellement et quand ils ont disparu là n'est aucune adaptation sur terre qui peut les faire revenir encore."

"We photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing, and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth can make them come back again. We cannot develop and print a memory"

The Memory Bank (Testimonials)

“If you wish for a white wedding, it might just happen. Sadly, however, the country came to a standstill, our florist let us down, half the guests didn’t make it even for the evening reception, and we had to delay the ceremony by 45 minutes because Tom’s mum was stuck in the snow. We are so glad we went with you in the end; you were as reliable as you promised! More importantly, those precious photos! Wow! Any disappointment we may have experienced from the exceptional weather conditions quickly faded away as soon as we saw those photos. And now we are left with nothing but happy memories from the day. Thank you.”

-- Nikki and Tom Shorrocks (bride and groom)

“The camera of fun was an amazing success. I honestly didn't know if this pop-up-studio idea would work, but there was so much laughter, and we have had so many positive comments from all the guests. They loved the prints you sent-out too!”

-- Tom Nelson (groom)

“The photos are fabulous! You’ve done a great job and we’re very happy.”

-- Jen and John

“I just saw the photos online and had to call you straight away to tell you how wonderful I think they are. Especially the amazing shot of them both walking in the distance. I don't know how you did it, but this one photograph is a metaphor that speaks so powerfully of my daughter and her husband starting out on the road to life together. I am absolutely thrilled that this is a memory we can keep forever.”

-- Alan Saxon (father of the bride)

“My father normally refuses to be photographed. How did you even manage to get him in front of the camera? Let alone somehow capturing his entire personality in one shot! Stellar performance. SO pleased.”

-- Emily Kershaw (bride)
